Anyone with an interest in the history of the built environment and its role in shaping contemporary life is welcome to join the Society of Architectural Historians. As a member you'll receive access to leading educational resources and programs for scholarship, research, teaching, and lifelong learning. Membership Levels

Membership is on a 12-month, anniversary-date basis. Members are entitled to 12 months of access to member benefits and four quarterly journals (Digital JSAH or Digital + Print JSAH).

*The Reduced Rate is for individuals who are working independently or at an institution without full-time employment. This includes adjunct and contingent faculty who experience precarious employment, and part-time and unemployed workers.

**The Retired/Emeritus Rate is for those who are aged 65+ and are no longer employed.

This is a limited membership that grants participation in SAH Affiliate Groups and access to SAH Commons. It also provides convenient updates and registration links to SAH’s open-access programs and publications including SAH CONNECTS virtual webinars, post-annual conference roundtables, the SAH Newsletter, Opportunities Weekly Roundup, and SAH Archipedia. It does NOT include other member benefits, including (but not limited to) access to JSAH and the JSAH archive, annual conference registration, member meetups, and eligibility for fellowships, grants, and awards.
